World Environment Day Celebrated with the theme “Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For our Future” On the occasion of World Environment Day, Spastic Society of Manipur organised a tree plantation programme at its campus. The event was graced by Shri W.Birahari Singh, State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Manipur, who participated in the plantation drive with students disabilities. The programme highlighted the importance of environmental  conservation and the collective responsibility of every citizen to protect and preserve nature for future generations. Mr. Y. Ranesh Singh , a visually impaired person & Mr. A. Arun Meitei , a locomotor disabled person ( both lower limbs amputee) represented Spastic Society of Manipur at the 12th National Abilympics Skill Competition held at CSOI , New Delhi from 20th November- 21st November 2025 . Mr. Ranesh competed in Message competition n bagged Gold Medal and Mr. Abu bagged Silver Medal in Basket Making .
